The Dovado 3GN enables the sharing of your mobile broadband via standard WiFi protocols and/or 4 LAN or ethernet ports. With your USB modem inserted into the router's USB port, your internet connection is made conveniently available for all your network-enabled devices, e.g. iPhone, iPod, laptops, desktops, games consoles etc.

Faster WiFi - faster modems

The 802.11n protocol is supported for much faster wireless networking (up to 300 Mbps). This router's hardware has been designed with the fast-evolving future of mobile broadband in mind. It supports the fastest 3G modems currently up to 42Mbps and will support the next generation of 4G/LTE modems beyond those sort of speeds.

Australian power supply available

An Australian-style power adapter is available and the 3GN supports the same modems as the TINY models, i.e. the Sierra Wireless 320U 4G/LTE modem from Telstra and Bigpond is supported on the latest 5.0.15 firmware. However bear in mind that the 3GN has an upper speed limit of 25-30 Mbps due in most part to its older CPU.

Interacts with your mobile phone

• Configure the 3GN with your dataplan traffic limit, and get SMS alerts about your monthly data consumption.
• Send SMS commands to your 3GN (Restart, Connect, Disconnect, Status)
• Get SMS notifications of any changes to your Internet connection (including link fail-over).
